"Let us live in today, for yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised"
in The Bible
Word of Wisdom = Plain and Simple - Hosted by Dianne Adams, a servant of God = Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 8 PM central time -Call in number 347=945-7659 Prayer line 504-289-9501
"Let us live in today, for yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised" James 4:13-17
It is good to have goals, but goals can and sometime will disappoint us if we leave God out of our planning. There is no point in making plans as though God does not exist because the future is in his hands. To live with no motivation or planning is not God’s desire for our lives. Making plans that are out of the will of God will not produce the result that you may be looking for. God has a plan for all our lives, and it was designed before the foundation of the world. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans that I think toward you, said the LORD, thought of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God has an expected end in mind and an intended purpose for all of us. The Bible teaches against two extremes: Someone who never set goals which is slothfulness or others who set goals with no thought of God. Nothing can or will happen unless God allows or produce it. Line your goals up with the will of God, which is His word and you will never fail, God has created our existence before the foundation of the world and we must make our plans loosely and allow God will to be done. We must always remember that God is in control. We should always say if its God will we will do this or that. If we look around in this world someone is here today and gone today. Plan are made and many time change. If we take a look at our lives and where we are today was not our intention or how we thought it would be. Some better and some may be worst which lets us know we are not in total control.
Come and join us.

Celebrating the Sovereignty of God
in Christianity
After a long hiatus of a series of very unexpected "appointments" and a cross-country move, I am excited to be able to return to the Podcast. Today's episode will examine themes of social standing that many wrestle with. The themes of the haves and the have nots...The themes that leave the impression that the wicked prosper and the faithful do not. Psalm 73 will be our main focus. Words from the WORD
in Christianity
What does it mean to follow Jesus?
In his last recorded letter to the Church, the Apostle Peter highlighted a peculiar list of seven qualities as his final legacy. What he said about this carefully constructed guide is extraordinary:
It describes how we can manage the power of God to discover our intended identity. It captures the essence of what it means to walk with God’s spirit. When applied, it makes the expansion of God’s kingdom inevitable both in us and through us. This remarkable list was Peter’s summary of how Jesus Christ had discipled him. Jesus identified Peter as his prototype disciple, the first of many as the kingdom of God advances through the world. Peter’s guide will help anyone who wishes to follow Jesus as he did.

in Prayer
"GRIEVING WITH HOPE"
The message we're about to hear reminds us that our hope is anchored in Jesus' death and resurrection. Because Christ conquered the grave, those who die in Him will also rise and reign with Him eternally. As 1 Corinthians 15:55 proclaims, "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"
Join with us as As we explore this topic of grieving with hope, Our prayer is that you may we be encouraged and strengthened in your faith. Open your heart and spirit to receive the wisdom that will shared to encourage, inspire and uplift you even in the midst of difficult times.
