...on this episode of 'Cite Club!, We search for Christ; the Messiah, the anointed one...WE plan to discuss the etymology, the symbols, the name, the life, the teachings and the different religious perspectives of Christ...In addition We 'Cite with LaCroy 'Atlas' Nixon born in Charlotte, NC, raised in Williamsburg, VA.:bachelor's degree in graphic design from Liberty University: writing/performing spoken word poetry for eight years: regional Director of teen programming for the YMCA: on the executive board for the Writers Guild of Virginia: current member of the poetry, society of Virginia, has a book available entitled “God and his humor”: artist with the Hope Booth Movement.

Atlas is also a 2x back to back (2023 and 2024) verb benders grand slam champion. He also has helped the verb benders slam team reach a number 10 and number 3 spot in the nation He also founded Slam Connection, a slam poetry-based organization in Williamsburg created to use poetry, slam poetry, and spoken word as a means for community action: in only two years of operation, Slam Connection has created its own curriculum, holds free open, mics every month, has taught poetry to incarcerated youth, and partnered with the local library and the city of Williamsburg to enrich the culture.

Atlas is currently working with the city of Williamsburg to install the first poet laureate in the that area: an educator through the Child Defense Fund Freedom School as a servant leader intern and a site coordinator. He loves Jesus and hopes to inspire people to be the best version of themselves through arts and self expression.
